Pomelo

On this website you may find:

A based and mmo-pilled woman with the yummiest looking layout and art that looks like it smells like your favourite fruit. Pom's knowledge and love for the sparkliest and most colorful era of the Internet is the real deal, and you can see it reflected in her site. Have you ever wanted to find someone that shares your love for Final Fantasy X-2? Well, this is the site for you then!!!

saint-images

On this website you may find:

An extremely chill and enjoyable blog, with an extremely chill and enjoyable photography section. I enjoy Russia through his lens... One of the first sites I found myself following regularly on Neocities. A music taste I find agreeable with mine, so whenever he shares a song, I give it a listen... An extensive posessions page, and my personal favourite: the curiosities section.

Murid

On this website you may find:

A thoughts section that will always leave you pondering, pleasing to look at art that focuses on line variation and a nice photography section featuring Malaysia!

suboptimalism

On this website you may find:

A suboptimal site, for suboptimal people. I highly recommend the writings of this self described wine drunk raconteur. My personal favourite is the in-depth look into the death of Yesterweb.

Vivarism

On this website you may find:

Do you want to witness unabashed yumeism? You got it. Do you want to download stickers, all manually scanned? You got it. Do you want to read diary entries with changing monthly layouts? You got it. Pay Flonne's flowery corner of the Internet a visit and say Cabbage sends her warmest regards...

Beau Jean

On this website you may find:

A site that showcases many interests, from books and horror to making music to being an awesome dad to growing and maintaining your own garden, oh and most importantly - being a librarian!!! Bojan's site radiates with positivity and happiness which I find incredibly inspiring!

Zucchini

On this website you may find:

An avid doll collector and bread bag owner (among other things). My personal favorite pages are the one dedicated to her special painbag which is a sight to behold! Other than that I also love the dolls only imageboard because the pinned thread gave me a big laugh when I first saw it.

foreverlikethi.is

On this website you may find:

A whole lot of stuff. I would like to highlight the work he does to keep up with the indie/small web communities, the full extent of which is visible through his site, but also through a thread on Agora Road, titled "The Personal Web". In fact it was this thread that finally pushed me towards making my own proper link directory, instead of having a simple button wall. I'd also like to thank him for plugging my site, I'm very grateful!

incessantpain

On this website you may find:

One of my favourite layouts around, simply because of the index.html. It's so wide and it just werks. Every time I redesign my site I want to create something similar, but each time I give up, fearing that I wouldn't know how to categorize everything. A site that showcases the webmaster's many interests, musings, collections and skills. My favourite page is the one dedicated to clothing.

Page's Pages

On this website you may find:

A simple website filled with reviews, mostly of pre-2000's anime, which is refreshing to see! The reviews vary in length, from being detailed episode reviews, to being brief and concise, check them out!

Peelopaalu

On this website you may find:

An extensive link directory belonging to a guy with one of the oldest sites hosted on neocities!. You can spend hours browsing these links.

Unhinged Lily Garden

On this website you may find:

Yuri media reviews! Simple as. I love any type of website reviewing weeb shit, but this one in particular I became very fond of because I like the way in which this particular yuri addict speaks (writes?). I also really like that she has a glossary of all the necessary terms.

Gamera

On this website you may find:

Site dedicated to Anita's gamelog, each entry containing a short review! I always check it out when it's updated. What can I say, I love to see gamer girls winning...

Sylum's Asylum

On this website you may find:

Mima's book and media reviews, shrines, her diary and my favorite part - her articles!

Brugmansia Manor

On this website you may find:

An extremely charming website which will you will fall in love with immediately. Take a moment to explore her Sewing Room, or perhaps her Library... My recommendation is the dressup game page. I'll also take this chance to say that I really like her OC, Charlotte.

Lovesick

On this website you may find:

Where to even begin, a site with so many aspects to it, it's hard to pick my favourite. Lapin put an incredible amount of effort into every nook and cranny of this website, with each site having it's own layout - yet they manage to all have a cohesive theme. If you want to witness the sheer scale of her website, take a peek at her sitemap. My personal favourites would probably be the thriftlog and the reading list!

Oubliette

On this website you may find:

A veteran webmistress that dedicated a lot of time into making shrines and maintaining a bunch of websites. Her layouts are fantastic, and they showcase the type of web design that isn't popular at all on neocities - assuming that's what you're used to. I recommend her shrine directory, which is quite extensive.

Sanhyo

On this website you may find:

A site that is very important to me, because it's one of the sites (if not the site!) that pushed me into making my own. I don't want to give a specific link recommendation because there's a lot of stuff that's hidden so I'd encourage you to explore!

Yukinu

On this website you may find:

This website has a very wide variety of features but what I recommend the most is the blog. The quick website reviews introduced me to another site I really enjoy browsing through - T.H.E.M. anime reviews. Yukinu is also one of the most active members of the lainchan webring.

Hard Machine

On this website you may find:

A genuinely witty capybara/rat/mouse/hamster creature. I enjoy her writings a lot, especially the informative and completely unbiased article on ratphobia.

Cable World

On this website you may find:

Writings, a diary, and an adorable office page I'm eagerly awaiting the redesign of. I found the webmistress of this place intimidating at first (the cables freaked me out, I'm sure), but with time I grew so fond of her website and whatever she had to say.

Megane Luvr

On this website you may find:

Manga reviews! I really like her reviews and the stuff she's into, aka seinen manga. Her reviews are more in depth than mine (or like, average length is like my rare longer reviews), and I like her takes. I feel like our approach is similar, which makes the reading experience almost.. comforting!

T.H.E.M. Anime Reviews

On this website you may find:

Anime reviews! This website has been up since 1996. Super cool. I follow their reviews in my rss feed, I don't tune into all of them, but I always take a peek if only partially. THEM consists of multiple reviewers, and they've got a neat and extensive history behind the site.

The New Leaf Journal

On this website you may find:

A site I discovered by pure accident when browsing google a while back. I sometimes read their anime reviews, not much else though. Like THEM, this is a collective of writers, except this is more of a magazine that talks about various topics. One of the writers has a "collection" on the website, dedicated to cataloguing and talking about hair colors in various anime, which I found neat lmao.

Mangasplaining

On this website you may find:

Manga reviews! Well researched and detailed, this is a pretty high effort podcast. I don't listen to the podcast though, but I do look at the stuff they review, and sometimes discover good things to read. I like when they talk about the industry, or the mangaka themselves and stuff like that. They can be a bit annoyingly woke in a normie way but I gloss over it with my tired eyes and move on with my life. They also mostly focus on manga for adults which is appreciated.
